Super Speciality Hospital Jammu commences operations of Cath Lab | KNO

Jammu, Mar 22 (KNO): In a major relief for cardiac patients across J&K, the Super Speciality Hospital Jammu commenced operations of its Cath Lab from Saturday. Five coronary interventional procedures were done today, a statement issued to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) reads. This facility is significant as it will facilitate various diagnostic and interventional procedures like ROTA-ablation, IVUS and Peri Operative Transesophageal echo (T), Ultrasound, ASD, PDA closure besides the routinely done Cardiac procedures like coronary angiography, coronary angioplasty both simple and complex, procedures like Temporary Pacemakers, Permanent Pacemakers, Cardiac re-synchronization Therapy Pacemaker (CRTP) and Cardiac re-synchronization Therapy with Defibrillator (CRTD) with pacing. It is pertinent to mention that these advancements will transform cardiac care in J&K providing timely and life-saving interventions—(KNO)
